THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG AT KNOLL HOUSE
You’ve heard the stories: laughter in the walls, black paint dripping from the ceiling, a man who weeps in the phone at midnight, and always, that strange light in the Attic. Many questions remain about what exactly happened at Knoll House, but now, there is only one question you and your fellow ghost hunters wish to answer:
Will you live to tell the tale?
Tales from the Attic is our first truly spooky experience which also features a unique puzzle solution system. To finish this room, you must type the end of the story yourself. To create an even more immersve experience, it is also a “lockless” room—meaning it has no padlocks of any kind. While you may find this experience creepy—unsettling even—please note that this is not a “horror” room: no blood or guts, and minimal jump-scares.
“Tales from the Attic was SUCH a fun and spooky experience. A+ puzzles and atmosphere, 11/10 would recommend…”
The Tales of the Attic room was one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done... All around an awesome experience.

Who Should Play Tales from the Attic?
Tales from the Attic is great for groups who like spooky! While this room is not a horror experience, if you enjoy the spooky, supernatural, and eerie, this is a great room for you!
Tales from the Attic is great for first-time players! This room is entirely lockless, you will not find a padlock in this room! Because it is not a “traditional” escape room, if you come with an open mind—you’re sure to have a blast.
We generally do not recommend Tales from the Attic for puzzle-driven escape enthusiasts—this is a story and atmosphere driven adventure. If you love puzzles and classic escape rooms, we would recommend our Film Noir room!
Is the Room Wheelchair Accessible?
This is a wheelchair accessible room! All of the areas of this room can be accessed in a wheelchair, and the majority of the puzzle elements are under 5 ft.
Is Tales from the Attic a Difficult Room?
Is Tales from the Attic a Horror Room? Is it Scary?
Tales from the Attic is a little scary! We designed the room to be a spooky and atmospheric experience. There is one major jump-scare in the room, but besides that, the eerieness comes from the set design, sound design, and story.
Tales from the Attic is not a horror experience. You will not find blood, guts, or excessive violence inside this room.
What Does it Mean That it is a “Lockless“ Room?
Tales from the Attic has no padlocks or key locks! When you find a code or combination, you enter it into a typewriter, which in turn forwards the story along. While there are plenty of other “lockless” escape rooms, there aren’t any that work quite like Tales—this is truly a one-of-a-kind experience!
