What to Expect
When You’re Inspecting
Dec. 28th or 29th | 10am - 3 pm
Join us on either Sunday, Dec. 28th or Monday, Dec. 29th! The hunt starts at 10am at Escape Games PDX in Portland. Expect to spend about 3-5 hours on the hunt. If you’re worried about lunch, read the ”perks” section below!
Four Locations to Drive to!
Each location on the hunt is associated with our greater company—a real celebration of what we’ve accomplished in 10 years! With clear traffic, each location takes about 15 minutes of drive time to get to. The hunt ends at paradigmQ in Vancouver, WA.
Two to Four (or More) Players
This puzzle-hunt costs $150 per team. For gameplay, we recommend 2-4 players, but you can certainly add as many as you want!

What Should I Bring?
Transportation! In order to get to each location in time, you must have be able to drive your team. Expect to spend roughly 15 minutes on travel time between each location. Besides that, just bring your wits (or choose team members that have them!).
What About Lunch?
One of our locations, Firehouse Axes, is a restaurant and bar! As a part of the perks of playing this game, we are offering a $25 voucher for your order at Firehouse Axes. If that does not suit you or your team, you are welcome to find your own lunch during the game!
Is This a Hard Puzzle-Hunt?
Depends on who you ask! If you are accustomed to puzzle-hunts, such as the DASH hunts, then experience may prove slightly easier than you are used to (albeit, still an absolute blast!). If you’ve played an Escape Room or have played multiple, then this experience was designed for you! It won’t be easy, however—expect more time-intensive puzzles than you might find in an Escape.
If you have never played an Escape Room or puzzle game, this will be a challenging experience. That stated, we have staff members stationed at every location that are well-versed in the game. They can help you out anytime you need.
Can We Get Hints During the Game?
Absolutely—and we encourage you to use them! We have staff members stationed at every location that can help you solve whatever is tripping you up. Need help on every single puzzle? No problem! The goal here is to have fun. If you’re not having fun, ask for a hint!
Do I Get a Prize for Being First to Complete the Game?
Nope!
This game does not have a leaderboard, scoreboard, timer, or anything to track your progress. We want you to obey speed limits and to have fun. If “having fun” means trying to do it as fast as you can, go for it, but we won’t know! Every group that completes the game receives a coupons for the locations you visited as well as small keychain collectables from each location.
What’s the Story Behind this Game?
It’s our 10 year anniversary celebration!
We opened late in December in 2015 with our first location, Escape Games PDX, with our very first room: Sherlock’s Secret. Since then, we’ve designed and built over 15 Escape Rooms, ran multiple off-site events, and expanded into axe-throwing and more. We are thrilled to celebrate 10 years in business the only way we know how: puzzles!
