We’re so excited to begin production on our most ambitious project to date: Tales from the Attic! For those of you who remember, this room theme was our second-highest voted theme when we sent out the survey about a year ago—the first being Murder on the Express, which you can now play!
So what makes this project so ambitious? Despite running and designing escapes for over 7 years, we have never designed a spooky room before! Part of our mission is to create family friendly and team-build friendly experiences—this will be the first experience that will come with a PG rating. That said, we must emphasis that this is a spooky experience—there will be no gore, and no true horror. If you are looking for something a little scarier, there’s always NW Escape Experience’s Ronny’s House or Hour to Midnight’s House of Darkness, both wonderful experiences from two great companies!
Not only is this room spooky, but we’re also putting in more tech into Tales from the Attic then we’ve ever put in a room before! No guarantees at this point, but this might be our very first lockless room. To make sure that the tech is up-to-snuff, we’ve added a new member to our production team—and we are so jazzed to have them! We’ll probably do a feature on them at some point, so no spoilers for now, but they’re definitely going to up our production value significantly! And that’s all for now!
